Summary
Art direction for the first outward-facing marketing material of BEHEMOTH. The vision: an ice cold rock-hewn logo set within a world of unrelenting snow and ominous figures lurking in a swirling snow storm.

Process
In After Effects, I chiseled a 3D form from a flat vector logo using CC Glass, environment textures, and point lights. Once extruded, I applied a Wave Warp reveal to mimic the amorphous edge of blowing smoke. I then layered the logo into concept art of forsaken lands from the game, adding a flurry of snow, mist, and smoke to bring the marketing vision to life. This initial direction was then further developed by an external creative agency to produce the pre-release campaign collateral.
